Cara, a leather-catsuit wearing bisexual ex-dominatrix who kills people with a giant electrifying dildo; there is not enough sauce in the world to encompass her awesomeness. Kahlan/Richard. Cara/Kahlan. Cara/Richard. Cara/Kahlan/Richard. The fact that the male lead has two - two - female companions whose job is literally to protect him. The fact that the female characters get as much screentime and have their own story arcs and aren’t reduced to sidekicks and pass the Bechdel test every single episode. Beautiful landscape scenery. Bondage. Powerful Magic. Canon femslash. Slow-mo battle scenes. Evil, intense, sexy brothers. Swords. Boobs. Canon true love where there’s none of the stupid relationship angst. Friendship that’s fierce and strong and that Cara will deny exists until she admits she loves them. To a fairy! And finally, a wonderfully cracky, wank-free fandom.
